Tyler All Battery Center to Host Grand Opening
Interstate All Battery Center in Tyler, Texas, will hold its grand opening this weekend, benefiting the East Texas Food Bank. Visitors will see how high they can go stacking donated canned foods around the Interstate Batteries No. 18 show car!
As a clearinghouse for donated food, the East Texas Food Bank forms a partnership with the food industry by collecting, inspecting, sorting, packaging and distributing food to member agencies, which provide food directly to those in need. Since 1988, the East Texas Food Bank has provided food to over 200 partner agencies, in an effort to feed children, the working poor and seniors throughout 26 counties in East Texas.
Visitors are encouraged to bring in two cans of non-perishable food, and in return they’ll receive a free gift. In addition, customers are invited to receive a free automobile battery check and register for door prizes, including a day fishing trip with Pro Team Bass Fisherman Jim Anderson and other great Interstate products. Food, snacks and drinks will also be available.
