Mickey Mickey Elam

President, Interstate Battery Franchising and Development

President, Retail Acquisition Development

Mickey Elam is President of Interstate Battery Franchising and Development and Retail Acquisition Development. He graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and joined Interstate in 2000.  Mickey previously worked with the public accounting firm KPMG and brings a 15-year commercial real estate background to Interstate.  Elam is a critical source on issues involving power solutions, franchising, entrepreneurship, sales and business strategies.

Justin Justin Darland

Director, Franchise Development

In December 2007, Justin Darland was named Interstate Battery Franchising and Development Director.  A graduate of Stephen F. Austin University, Darland is responsible for all aspects of franchise development, advertising and public relations for the IABC franchise offer in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada and the Dominican Republic. Under his leadership, IABC continues to expand at a record pace both nationally and internationally.

 

 

Cassie Cassie Barnes

Franchise Development Coordinator 

Cassie Barnes joined Interstate Batteries in April 2007.  As the franchise development coordinator for Interstate Battery Franchise and Development, she is involved in projects related to the company’s franchise recruitment advertising, marketing and PR efforts. Prior to her work at IABC, Barnes worked in the communications division of the Oklahoma State Senate. She earned a degree in communications from the University of Oklahoma.

Jim

Jim Eades

Director, Franchise Operations

Jim Eades joined Interstate Battery Franchising and Development as the director of franchise operations in 2008.  Eades brings extensive multi-unit operations experience from Office Depot, May Department Stores and Ross Stores, Inc. At IABC, he is responsible for a 20 member training team with more than 300 years combined experience. Additionally Eades oversees operations of franchised and company-owned IABC locations in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada and the Dominican Republic. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University.
